Spotted: Chevrolet Caprice Classic

Detroit Iron in Moscow - a Chevrolet Caprice Classic spotted last year and photographed with a mobile phone on a sunny day.

Looks like Fourth and last Gen 1991 - 1996.

B body?

It doesn't look like it could drive off this place. 

According to Urban Dictionary, "Detroit Iron" means a big, heavy, bad-handling car made in Detroit. A road locomotive. Me, I like the look (and the idea) of them though.

Mondeo in Moscow

In late March I went have a look at the new Ford Mondeo (fourth-gen Mondeo / Mondeo Mk V) Saturday - local Ford dealer was throwing a party aka presentation.

The rear end... some complain it looks too much like that of the Ford Focus III sedan.

First Post on the Blog

My plan for this blog...

...is to blog, attaching lots of pictures, etc. about cars and everything automotive, including all other transportation assets, that is, things that pollute the environment but at the same time give us freedom of movement, (sliding) roof over our heads, peace and quiet, nice stereo, opportunity to travel and make observations from (relative) safety of our vehicles whilst focusing on my immediate environment here in Russia but also going beyond.
