Lessons of Ukraine War: Western Arms Are Waste and Wasted In Ukraine As a Prelude to Liberation and Pacification of the North Atlantic Axis
One result of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine that started over two years ago in February 2022, when the post-2014 coup Zelensky regime stubbornly refused to de-occupy large territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics even as Putin’s Russia, after much delay and vacillation, finally recognized them as independent states and was appealed to by them to assist in expelling the masses of the occupying Zelensky military and paramilitary forces long entrenched in the region, is the discovery of how inferior and substandard Western-made weaponry has turned out to be and likely has always been, though it is only now that we are beginning to find out for real thanks (if that is indeed the word) to the persisting Ukraine conflict, with a mass of pictorial and video evidence of destroyed Western origin weapon systems overwhelming and saturating the Internet, so much so that all of the Western government controlled major search engines are now obfuscating and censoring the pictures and videos in an attempt to throw the would-be impartial conflict researcher, analysist or observer or just a curious member of the public off the track with their rigged search results popping up all over the computer-, tablet- or cell phone screen to promote baseless Western propaganda.
Early on, and even for a long time before the start of the conflict, Western, and especially US-made, weapons had been held, touted and generally shamelessly proclaimed, without a shred of evidence, to be superior or even invincible and the prized game-changer capable of reversing the situation on any battlefield in any conflict on their own, by virtue of their mere appearance there as if by black magic or witchery.
In the Ukraine conflict, however, a long succession of the so-called Western Wunderwaffen (itself a telling term whose roots are in the failed WW2 Nazi mythology from a period when Nazi Germany was likewise making grabs at imaginary straws in her desire to survive at all cost) followed after each previous one had successively failed to make a meaningful impact and been destroyed in large quantities, and now the Western entities have basically nothing left in their arsenals that has not yet been destroyed in Ukraine in great numbers.
The Humvee
Let’s start at the bottom of the junk heap of Western weaponry – the US-designed and made HMMWV – High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, aka the hapless Humvee.
Though it is merely a truck and, according to some, the worst in the world, the reason we cannot overlook it in this analysis is that the Humvee is also an armed and armor-protected battlefield vehicle platform and a carrier of weapons systems and was and continues to be a ubiquitous symbol of US military might and worldwide reach, accordingly sometimes described as “the vehicular backbone of US forces around the world”, and has also been a regular feature of every (ill-advised) foreign campaign perpetrated by the US military since at least the late 1980s and the invasion of Panama, needless to say, all of them illegal wars of aggression under international law as properly understood as they were never approved by the UN Security Council.
But the Humvee has now ultimately become a symbol of disaster, defeat and repeated military failure.
Hundreds of destroyed Zelensky regime US-supplied Humvees are now populating the internet image searches and have been documented by various open-source intelligence enthusiasts (OSINTers) as destroyed in Ukraine - over 500 units, at the time of this writing, as the verified minimum based solely on readily and easily available photographic and videographic records, which likely resolves to the overall numbers of destroyed Zelensky regime Humvees that are in the region of over several thousand units, with scores also captured.
In early August 2024, the Zelensky military attempted a major brigade level inclusion into Russia’s Kursk region which resulted in a notable increase in destroyed Humvee sightings.
Although the Humvee has been long known for the poor protection that it affords to the crew and operators, even in its upgraded and extra armored-kit versions, still the nature of its total, though picturesque and often very atmospheric, destruction and the gruesome aftermath, in most cases, upon being hit, as has happened hundreds of times now in Ukraine, is a huge shock even to the seasoned observer, though not of course even nearly comparable to the shock that its occupants get when they are thus surprised.
Humvees also belie their grandiose appellation invoking “high mobility” by providing only rather limited mobility as their use is confined to tarmac or, at best, dry dirt-roads, and they cannot negotiate mud, plowed fields, grasslands or swampy grounds comprising the majority of the terrain in the Ukraine.
But lack of mobility is what every other Western weapon system suffers from too, so the Humvee is hardly alone in this and is definitely not the worst either.
The M113
Another venerable military fighting vehicle, and even some twenty years the Humvee’s senior, that has been optimistically supplied for use in the Ukraine conflict in large numbers by the United States and her clients and has now been destroyed in almost equally large numbers is the M113 tracked armored personnel carrier produced by the FMC corporation for the US military.
Starting as far back as in the early 1960s, the M113 APC first saw action in Vietnam and used to be the mainstay of US Army armored cavalry formations in many wars (though, in the final analysis, all eventually lost by the US military with one or two minor exceptions) starting from Vietnam and up to the US military’s lost wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in the 21st century but is now likewise an embarrassment and a huge stain on the reputation of the US capitalist run military-industrial complex (what's left of it) and the American made weapons and engineering design and workmanship in general, with hundreds and maybe even thousands of US-supplied M113 APCs and derivatives spectacularly destroyed in Ukraine already, with more taken out almost every single day.
With the untold numbers of the M113, including all its many versions or variants, such as the Dutch YPR-765 and others, having been thusly destroyed by the Russian army and by groups of Ukrainian partisans by now, into hundreds if not thousands of units already, the destruction of this particular Western chariot is the biggest M113 destruction in the history of humanity since Vietnam, but the Ukrainian destruction of the M113 still continues on a near daily basis and more of the previously destroyed M113s are coming to light almost every single day.
Recently, on August 27, 2024, a rare M113 version – an M577 command post carrier was seen and destroyed in Russia’s Kursk region where Western weapons and armor assets are continuing to be destroyed at the fastest rate since the start of the hostilities as of this writing.
Pictures of destroyed M113s and variants, are very atmospheric and something to behold too – often spectacular art installations of torn and melted aluminum, pierced armor plates, huge holes in the sides, shed tracks and hollowed out boxy hulls gutted by raging fires – better not to peer inside any too closely; it likes to keel over too on the slightest of provocations being a tall, angular, square and bulky vehicle, easy to spot and hard to miss.
The M113 has also been known to evaporate and de-atomize completely following an explosion in its cargo bay, of which at least one video exists on the Internet.
Dubbed the “RPG Operator’s Dream”, the M113 easily falls prey to the ubiquitous 1950s RPG-7s but also to nearly everything else – from concentrated small-arms and machine gun fire, to IFV gun- and tank rounds, to artillery shells, guided missiles and, maybe most frequently, to cheap appropriately modified, or weaponized, commercial drones – almost anything is good to knock out, and often destroy outright, the subpar US-made vehicle that is the M113.
Though not yet officially retired or superannuated, the M113 is outdated of course but newer US designed- and made vehicles and US origin weapons systems have fared no better if not actually much worse, which brings us neatly to the M2 Bradley fighting vehicle.
The Bradley IFV
A much newer US-made weapons system and fighting vehicle, the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) is a tracked armored fighting vehicle deployed by the United States and her client states, developed by FMC Corporation and manufactured by BAE and with potential and intent for further development, upgrade and modernization.
Over 300 Bradley IFVs have been supplied to the Zelensky regime in Ukraine but as of this writing most of them, certainly over 190, were destroyed very soon after daring to appear anywhere near the frontline, and, though large numbers of M2 Bradley IFVs (ca. 150) were also destroyed in the protracted 2003-11 Iraq war, it is the first time in history of warfare that this vehicle was destroyed in such large quantities and over such a relatively short period of time of just about six months after its introduction to the conflict.
Tall, square and boxy vehicles, Bradley IFVs are easy to spot, engage and to knock out or destroy using quite a range of weaponry that elements of the Russian forces or Ukrainian partisans have at their disposal for the eventuality of chancing upon a Bradley IFV.
If you search the internet for relevant Bradley IFV destruction key words other than using the truth-suppressing major Western-controlled search engines (hint: try using Yandex search for a change though it is not entirely free from Western censorship either), you will see no shortage of photographic and videographic evidence of such Bradley IFV destruction.
From the footage and photographic evidence this writer has personally seen and sifted through in the course of his research preparatory to writing this exposition and analysis, the M2 Bradley appears to be another irredeemably inferior Western origin weapons system: a poorly engineered based on the wrong assumptions and faulty concepts, worse built and very fragile US-made fighting vehicle easily knocked out with small DIY explosives attached to cheap commercial drones, also easy to knock out or disable with heavy machine gun and even concentrated rifle fire; heavier or dedicated antitank-grade munitions or tank rounds themselves leave no chance, destroy these vehicles totally, also burns well with the slightest of provocations and melts down, pops off turrets too for good measure.
Helicopter launched anti-tank missiles are especially cruel on these heaps on tracks as are dedicated anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM).
As to the combat effectiveness of the Bradley fighting vehicle, in this type of action that we are seeing in the Ukraine theater, it is very low indeed; maybe it is only suitable, and was apparently designed, for lazy colonial-style warfare in far-flung corners of the world against under-armed opponents or civilians - the only type of action the US military has seen in many decades though still was ultimately defeated in every campaign since their last minor military success which was the afore-mentioned 1989 invasion of Panama perpetrated on the orders of the late Bush Senior.
Various other Bradley versions, derivatives or lookalikes like the German Marder, the Swedish skit CV90 or the Canadian origin Stryker IFVs have performed at least equally abysmally, with most of them likewise destroyed on their first outing to the frontline, and need hardly be specifically mentioned here. Suffice it to say that, like the Bradley IFV, they have been destroyed in numbers only slightly below those in which they were supplied, with virtually no survivors of even the shortest stint in the actual war zone.
A significant number of M1132 Stryker IFVs outfitted with LWMRs (light-weight mine rollers) were also seen and destroyed in the Zelensky regime’s latest offensive failure to date – in Russia’s Kursk Region, ca. August – September 2024.
Western tanks are the worst of the lot
After years of post-Cold War propaganda and hype regarding Western tanks, largely based on willful misrepresentation and misinterpretation of the lessons and results of the 1991 and 2003-2011 Gulf and Iraq wars, not to mention outright lies and propaganda disseminated by the United States Department of “Defense” downplaying and denying US military losses in tanks, it is safe to say that Western origin tanks have not made a good name for themselves in the Ukraine, as is now finally clear to all, even the most obtuse and unimaginative.
German Leopard series tanks have been supplied in most numbers, including advanced Swedish versions such as the Strv 122, up to 300 tanks to date; and again many if not all of them have been destroyed on their first attempt at something resembling real action when they attempted to face the opposing forces. Some made quite a splash in the news early on in the so-called and now failed Zelensky regime counteroffensive of the summer of 2023 and for the wrong reason too, from the viewpoint of their manufacturers and sellers, as they were knocked out or destroyed en mass.
Again, photographic and video graphic evidence that abounds even in Western media outlets is proof that they are very bad tanks: unreliable mastodons with insufficient or poor-quality armor, weak engines, drivetrains, suspensions and tread-track systems, barrels can be knocked off with small arms fire - they are rather prone to fires, weaponized commercial drones carrying RPG-7 grenades strike top down and knock them out and scorch the innards – and with artillery, tank rounds or anti-tank missiles there is never even a doubt as to their failure to survive anywhere near the actual battlefield.
This should come as no surprise at all as very few countries in the world have a full-cycle tank building capability and even fewer have ever managed to produce anything worthwhile.
Germany is still one of such tank-building nations but the Germans are well known for manufacturing and using inferior tanks as they did in most of World War Two, until they finally (but very belatedly) succeeded in copying the Russian T-34 as Panther V, and it appears they are now back to square one with the Leopard which is an irredeemably inferior tank for reasons too numerous to enumerate here, suffice it to say it has many weak points making it easy to knock out even using 30 mm BMP IFV gun rounds delivered in a quick succession to the side or heavy machine gun fire or even weaponized commercial drones as happened multiple times, and in the only two tank duels the T-72 triumphed over the Leopard both times.
Leopard tanks are no strangers to bad press and bad BDA (battle damage assessment) -- on one previous occasion of their attempted use in something resembling real fighting, maybe the first for the type, though nothing like what we are seeing now in Ukraine, a number of them were totally destroyed in Syria ca. 2013 both by ISIS and Kurd militias wielding Russian RPG-7s and Konkurs ATGMs, so burning or torn-apart Leopard tanks is nothing new, they burned and blew up spectacularly before but it is the M1 Abrams tank that is likely the worst tank in the world and has been destroyed in greatest numbers across the entire Middle East, and in the Arab world, with scores US military admitted losses of Abrams tanks which likely means hundreds destroyed in actual fact.
Actually, the Americans have a long but checkered history when it comes to manufacturing tanks.
It is quite prudent to say they have only ever managed to produce three types of tanks: bad tanks, worse than bad tanks and worst tanks.
Their best WW2 tank, the M4 Sherman, was a bad tank as compared to German, and especially Soviet, units.
In their time, the M48 Patton and the M60 were even worse than the bad M4 Sherman was in WW2.
But, huge propaganda and hype notwithstanding, it is the M1 Abrams that can now be safely put down as the worst American tank, and probably the worst tank in the world, on balance (with the sole possible contender for the dubious title likely to be the British Challenger 2 which is even worse).
And only recently, in late March 2024, a Zelensky regime US origin M1 Abrams tank ventured too close to the frontline in the Ukraine for the first time to have been almost immediately destroyed, according to some accounts, via a drone drop, according to others, with an ATGM. Shortly after that, another three Abrams tanks were knocked out in quick succession with both RPG-7s (a technology dating back to WW2) and ATGMs.
At least 16 M1 Abrams tanks were then knocked out or outright destroyed in the subsequent months in the Ukraine conflict, with the remainder pulled from the frontline and hidden up the Zelensky forces rear to avoid any more embarrassment for this US-made disaster of a tank.
Recently however, the number of destroyed Abrams tanks in Ukraine has climbed up to at least 29 per OSINT imagery meaning the entire contingent of 31 supplied M1 Abrams tanks must have now been destroyed. And it didn’t help that the Ukrainian military took to up-armoring those tanks with add-on Soviet Kontakt-1 reactive armor bricks and anti-drone grills and cages.
Until this point some self-styled military experts and Western talking heads continued to claim, rather in the face of readily available evidence, that there was nothing wrong with Western tanks; that is unlikely to be so as – on this evidence – there is clearly nothing particularly right with them.
As now very vividly transpires, on balance, they are obviously inferior to the old Soviet era Russian tanks and especially to newer Russian designs.
Western tanks are heavy (but not necessarily better protected, especially on top, in the sides and in the rear), large, tall, bulky things which makes them easy to spot and harder to miss; they are also angular and boxy with upright surfaces which minimizes chances of a deflection away from the tank and ensures that they bear the full brunt of an armor piercing projectile each time it hits them and that they are easy to hit at right angles for maximum impacts. Their engines, drivetrains and suspensions are inadequate compromising mobility, turning them into sitting ducks more often than not.
They are also high maintenance and regularly suffer debilitating breakages.
Actually gun barrels (and areas immediately around them in the turret or under it) on Western tanks are one of their weak spots too, easy to knock off, there is an urban myth (not necessarily all untrue) to the effect that you can shoot a Western tank gun barrel off even with small arms fire if you unload on it from the side.
Western tank gun barrels are also very valuable commodity as very few replacements are available and may not be in production anymore due to an ongoing creeping de-industrialization in the West and loss of manufacturing competences in this area as in many others as well.
On at least one occasion a Leopard 2a4 tank was executed by a Russian BMP IFV fire to the side with 30 mm rounds, or even by someone unloading on it with a 14.5 mm KPVT heavy machine gun...well, whatever it was did the job and the tank was destroyed.
Large numbers of German Leopard tanks, both older and newer versions, such as 1a and 2a4 and 2a6, have been destroyed or knocked out to date since early June 2023 when they saw first attempted use, with scores OSINTed as destroyed, probably up to or over 200 units already.
At least 30 M1 Abrams tanks have now been destroyed, and that likewise on their first attempt at combat action.
For a long time only one British Challenger 2 tank remained listed as verifiably destroyed but this low number was solely due to their absence from the battlefield rather than to any inherent goodness on their part - because the British, for example, were thought to have specifically forbidden the Zelensky regime from using British Challenger 2 tanks in anything resembling real action mindful of how quickly and how disastrously they would be destroyed.
That one British Challenger 2 tank that did see some early action was hit and knocked out very quickly indeed, with the turret popped off and none of the blow-out panels working, and its destruction was celebrated on the internet across the entire world for many a week thereafter. So the British government initially did not want to see any repeat of that performance, thank you very much, not that there are many buyers in the world for the British made rust bucket tank anyway.
Then comes Kursk 2024 and a brigade-level Zelensky military incursion into Russia proper and British Challenger 2 tanks reappeared probably to try to profit from better road conditions in Russia but not for long – immediately a further three, at least, have been effortlessly destroyed.
One British Challenger 2 tank was hunted down in some planting and struck with a small RPG-7 grenade carrying drone resulting in a huge explosion totally destroying the tank, dislodging its ugly oversized boxy turret as the tank round cartridges detonated inside causing a catastrophic kill. The second was pierced in several places with an anti-tank projectile, and of course it is only on the outside that the penetration area is small – inside it is an expanding cone of shaped charge, plasma, fragments and molten metal that scorches and burns everything alive instantly. A third tank was taken out at night with a guided helicopter launched missile.
Also, one should remember that old Soviet- and current Russian antitank weaponry is extremely varied and typologically numerous and has been designed specifically to target, and to be most effective against, NATO armor assets, including American, British and German tanks and that is what it is now doing and that is what it does best.
And as you have been seeing it is pretty effective. Where a Zelensky Regime Soviet era T-64 tank might take three hits to kill, only one is enough to kill, for example, the giant British rust bucket that is the Challenger 2, with the Challenger being much harder to miss too.
The M777 howitzer and other Western towed artillery
Of all the Western origin artillery systems the USUK M777 howitzer was supplied in the largest numbers, at first in a batch of 152 pieces, with several subsequent deliveries, certainly over 200 units and maybe even more to date.
The destruction of these US supplied British made M777 howitzers continues to this date, though their numbers are close to depletion, with over 190 destroyed per OSINT alone which means that about all of the 152 initially declared as supplied must have been destroyed and more from the subsequent deliveries have been likewise taken out; if destruction continues it will be proof of extra unannounced deliveries of M777 howitzers that must have taken place, in any case, hundreds have been destroyed in actual fact, let’s leave it at that for the purposes of this analysis.
Never before such great numbers of the M777 howitzer and of other Western artillery systems, including tracked and wheeled, have been destroyed anywhere and over such a short period of time, not even probably during the First or Second World Wars.
US BAE designed and built M777 howitzers are maybe good for killing civilians in indiscriminate shelling of cities in Eastern Ukraine as has happened on many occasions, but they are unwieldy, fragile and very high maintenance, made of poor quality British sourced metal and components, regularly break in the process of operation, require extensive training to operate, and also require supplies of liquid nitrogen to be able to function (!), easy to knock out even in indirect fire by small amounts of shrapnel or even by indirect small arms fire, also easy to locate and destroy by precision and not-so-precision munitions as has happened time and again in the Ukraine.
Also, US military instructors, operators and fire control personnel are rumored to have been initially embedded with the elements of the self-styled Armed Forces of Ukraine operating the systems, and, if true, quite a number of them must have already been killed with counter-fire or regular Russian anti-artillery work; though Zelensky regime gunners, either home-grown or foreign, seem to be having difficulty hitting anything with their guns other than civilian or unprotected non-combatant targets like in the case of multiple indiscriminate M777 shellings of Donetsk resulting in Western governments sanctioned, and contributed to, murder of civilians there.
Western self-propelled guns (SPG) propel to perdition
Large numbers of self-propelled Western artillery have been supplied… and subsequently destroyed – various US-made M109 self-propelled artillery pieces and their many derivatives, wheeled French and Slovak Caesars and Zuzanas, respectively, Polish Krab AHS, and not the forgetting the grandiloquently called British AS-90 “Braveheart” or even “Artillery System for the 1990s”… well, the 1990s are long gone and so is this British junk nearly finished now too.
In all, the destruction of Western-suppled self-propelled artillery is into thousands of units already, with more continuing to be destroyed on a near-daily basis.
MRAPs are for scrap
Another class of the Western arms and fighting vehicle that was supplied to the Zelensky regime in substantial numbers is the MRAP.
MRAP stands for Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (vehicle).
MRAPs have proliferated in a number of Western militaries as a result of their painful experiences in both Iraq and Afghanistan where they were ultimately defeated and kicked out from.
A large nomenclature of Western MRAPs has now been seen - and accordingly disposed of - in the Ukraine by the Russian forces and the Ukrainian anti-NATO partisans: the US International MaxxPro, the Oshkosh, British contraptions such as the dog-named Wolfhound TSV, Mastiff PPV, Husky TSV, the Australian Bushmaster PMV, the American BATT UMG and its German copies, etc.
They all look similar, are based on the same faulty concept, all have performed poorly, have all turned out to be neither mine resistant nor much ambush protected and have similarly been all knocked out or destroyed on their first attempted combat uses, and are now a rare sight and if any one reappears it is likely to be from fresh deliveries and has not attempted any meaningful mission yet.
These Western junk metal boxes on wheels are all bulky, tall, square and consequently have a large profile and a huge projected area and are thus another hard-to-miss “RPG operator’s dream” – as they are easy to spot, to see and to knock out or destroy from a distance; their Western armor is insufficient protection against anything; they also tend to leave the crew or the human complement with life changing injuries when hit, even if not killed outright.
Western shoulder launched and anti-tank arms
Immediately before the start of hostilities and soon after, tens of thousands of Western shoulder launched antitank and anti-air systems were supplied to the entrenched Zelensky regime, including the US-made Javelin “advanced” antitank system, the British NLAW, the AT-4, the German Panzerfaust 3, the Swedish GRG, and heavier French MILAN antitank systems, the American FIM something or other anti-air Stinger systems, etc.
Though, the US-made Javelin was the first of the so-called “Wunderwaffen”, the only wonder is how quickly they turned out to be inadequate and were thrown down or abandoned by the fleeing Zelenskyite military or captured by the Russians.
Many of those units failed to kill their targets as they were unable to penetrate Russian armor on the rare occasion that they did not miss, many failed to arm while already in flight but revealed the position of the operators to be immediately destroyed with accurate return fire, most failed to fire at all.
Also, thousands were captured – initially by foraging DPR and LPR troops and subsequently by the Russian military, some still in their factory boxes, and all seemed to have disappeared since then.
Missile systems
The Ukraine conflict has seen the first-ever destruction of the (over-)prized US M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocked Systems (HIMARS), a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), and the unimaginatively named M270 MLRS.
Though Western militarist propaganda would have you believe that HIMARS units were invincible due to their longer range and ease and speed of targeting, launching and subsequently running for cover in the rear, there are now documented by this author at least 28 instances of the destruction of US HIMARS systems, in each of which not just any one HIMARS asset but a number of HIMARS launchers and other attached support and command vehicles were destroyed along with the personnel (who might or might not be Western operators or instructors wearing Ukrainian battle dresses) which means that the HIMARS has now been decimated, nay, halved in Ukraine, if not near-totally destroyed.
In the August 2024 Kursk gambit the Zelensky military had to pull some of their remaining HIMARS and M270 MLRS systems quite close to the Russian border and the then current frontline to provide support, the result of which was the destruction of multiple HIMARS and M270 MLRS assets in at least a further fourteen confirmed strikes (eight HIMARS and six MLRS 270 destruction episodes), as supported by released footage and battle damage assessments, and these systems continue to be hunted down and destroyed.
Going East to go West: Western SAM and other air-defense systems
Later in the conflict, a number of war-mongering Western entities deceitfully posing as “supporters and friends of the Ukrainian people” supplied the Zelensky regime with some of their most modern and “advanced” air-defense missile systems, including the Patriot missile system, the SAMP/T, the German Gepard anti-air gun, the German IRIS-T, though the only realm they were “advanced” is the overactive imagination and clouded consciousness of Western government officials, both civilian and military.
Furthermore, the truth is that nearly all of them have by now been destroyed on a number of occasions each, with the American Patriot system bearing the brunt of destruction absorbing at least fifteen successful strikes on MIM-104 Patriot missile batteries, each entailing multiple destroyed launchers and other dedicated assets.
A recent night-time Iskander ballistic missile strike, of circa late March 2024, destroyed at least two Patriot launchers with a number of other command and support vehicles.
For all this pain that they took, Western air-defense missile systems have precious little to show in the way of successes, with no credible reports of successful action against Russian jets or even missiles or drones, but with plenty of evidence of failure and likewise eyewitness accounts of Western air-defense interceptor missiles unable to intercept targets and hitting residential buildings instead, locking on, and attacking, traffic lights, outside air conditioning units or falling on people’s heads resulting already in thousands of civilian casualties in what amounts to yet another Western governments sponsored, and contributed to, crime against humanity in Ukraine.
More NATO air-defense systems had to be rushed in to provide cover against Russian bombing raids during the Zelensky regime’s most recent ongoing failure – that of the August-September 2024 Battle of Kursk.
But again the only tangible verifiable result of their operation is their destruction as no Russian aircraft were shot down but at least three Patriot radar stations were hit by anti-radar missiles when they attempted to light Russian aircraft, with further multiple units destroyed in ballistic missile strikes – at least four Patriot batteries were thus conveniently disposed of as were some German systems, and their destruction is continuing though not many are left to kill.
British weaponry is a joke
The British also made so bold as to supply additionally some of their indigenous “weaponous” designs.
Some numbers of the Saxon APC, the Spartan IFV and the Snatch Land Rover have been optimistically supplied.
What these vehicles have in common is their exceedingly ugly appearance – butt-ugly in the English way, one and all – but the commonality doesn’t stop there – they are even easier to knock out than your average NATO armor asset and large numbers of them have been destroyed and captured.
It will do no good to enter into the matter of their battlefield performance here for the lack of same.
The Saxon APC has nothing to distinguish it apart from its looks – its butt-ugly looks give off British pedigree from a mile away and immediately call to mind ugly inbred degenerate members of the benighted British Royal Family.
Rolls-Royce built engine powered like the Saxon, and for this reason nearly impossible to start up even in the best of conditions, the British FV-103 Spartan is another peculiar but useless little runt of an armored vehicle which performs under fire disastrously.
As for the Snatch Land Rover, it has officially been known as a “mobile coffin” for quite some time, and it is safe to say that what we have seen now in the Ukraine conflict has done nothing to improve the ominous reputation of this leaky British tin foil chariot.
French weaponry oh la la
In addition to a few Caesar wheeled artillery systems and the useless VAB 4x4 Renault built APC, by now largely destroyed, the stingy French government under President Macron got to supply only one other quaint little thing – no, not the Citroen 2CV though it might have, just as well – but the wheeled little tank called AMX-10. As a leitmotif to the whole thing, some three supplied AMX-10s were all lost on the first attempt at action, with one of them captured and pulled to the Russian rear; and the AMX-10s have not been seen since.
New deliveries of previously failed means of war making – more of the same equals the same outcome only bigger
In May 2024, after months of dumbed down congressional debate in the United State complete with frequent freak shows on the floor – needless to say, not at all motivated by any humanitarian considerations or concern for the human life or prudence or the desire to uphold peace over war or anything of that nature but rather driven by intense bipartisan bickering, geriatric jostling for power and empty grandstanding – Congress passed and President Biden duly signed into law a $61 billion aid package for the failing Zelensky regime and its military which included, as its main component, military equipment and hardware.
However, the United States can do nothing but supply more of the same proverbial, that is, the same M113, M2 Bradley, M1 Abrams, Stryker, HMMWV, etc. that Russian and anti-Zelensky Ukrainian forces have no difficulty in dealing with at all as proven by this analysis and other good studies.
The numbers though have really become obscene as in total were supplied to date amongst other categories of assets and by America alone: 31 Abrams tanks, over 300 M2 Bradley fighting vehicles, 200 Stryker armored personnel carriers, over 400 M113 armored personnel carriers, over 1,000 “Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP)” Vehicles, more than 3,000 (!) High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV), aka hapless Humvees, which is way more than any Western nation military, apart from the US, has at its disposal.
And yet they have failed to become more visible on the frontline – and you now know the reason why – because they have failed, period, and have been in a large part destroyed.
If anything, the only thing it is prudent to take from these numbers is that they are a good indication of Western origin weapons losses as most of Western supplied armor assets, in particular, get destroyed on their first day of combat action and are useless and not fit for purpose, and these further deliveries are nothing but replacements.
ATACMs and Storm Shadow Missiles
There is currently a sham debate ongoing among Western powers as to whether they should allow the Zelensky regime to use supposedly game-changing US MGM-140 ATACMs and British Storm Shadow missiles to strike into Russian territory proper.
But these missiles have been used in Crimea for over a year already without tangible results as most of them were shot down using projectiles costing a tiny fraction of their prices, others missed their targets and, more importantly, they completely failed to prevent Russia from totally destroying the entire Ukrainian Azov and Black Sea fleets sinking all of its surface ships, including Ukraine’s only frigate (Hetman Sahaydachniy) and mid-size landing (Yuri Olefirenko) ship, multiples patrol ships, about a dozen of special purpose speed boats and countless unmanned surface boats, effectively turning the Zelensky regime’s ocean going fleet into a tiny river flotilla hiding up the estuaries or stagnant lagoons as ATACMs and Storm Shadow missiles fail to deliver, often literally.
Last of the Wunderwaffen is the shortest lived: the F-16
In the summer of 2024, after some two years of training pilots to fly the same, the first six F-16 Fighting Falcons fighter jets were delivered to the Zelensky regime’s heavily depleted air force with much fanfare in a ceremony held at an undisclosed location accompanied with bloodcurdling threats mouthed by Zelensky’s officials, including himself, regarding their impending use against the Russians and the things that they could do to them – nothing short of winning the war single-handedly for the Zelensky regime, albeit rather belatedly.
As per usual much was made of their “superiority”, the advanced weapons that they supposedly carried or could be equipped with, their upgraded and improved “electronic warfare suites” and what not.
However, only two or three weeks later, on August 26, 2024, one of the F-16s either went down, or never got up, on its maiden combat mission and took the pilot along with it for company to the beyond – and coincidentally did so on a day of a massive Russian air and missile strike on Zelensky’s war making capabilities.
This may be the first kill of an F-16 in the Ukraine war but it is far from the first combat loss of the F-16.
About thirty F-16 kills have been (very reluctantly and after years and years of lies and evasion) confirmed by their operators - F-16s have been lost to date mainly to Soviet-made weapons such as: at least three F-16s to Iraqi-operated SA-6 (2K12 Kub), SA-3 (S-125 Neva), shoulder-launched SA-16 (9K38 Igla) SAMs during the 1991 Desert Storm; one F-16 to 2K12 Kub (SA-6) SAM over Bosnia in 1995, and another one over Serbia in 1999; one F-16 to S-200 over Syria as recently as in 2018, a further five or so were lost to air-to-air missiles reportedly fired by a Mirage, various MiGs, or even other F-16s as in the case of a Turkish F-16 shoot-down by a Greek F-16.
Three or four crashed whilst on combat missions under unclear circumstances, including low altitude maneuvers, and could have been hit by ground fire, and some more in support missions, for a combined total of maybe 30-50 confirmed F-16 combat losses.
Many more kills are claimed by adversaries, and some with good credibility, especially by the Syrians over the IAF dating back to the early 1980s and, in the case of the Syrians, continuing up to the present time.
Per Aviation Safety Network, over 800 F-16s have crashed since 1975 across all operator nations in various major accidents, not thought to be related to combat, resulting in loss of aircraft and frequently the pilots too.
While there is again a myth of superiority and invincibility that is quite intentionally spread by the manufacturers, the US military and other principal operators of the F-16 about the aircraft – likely in order to discourage attacks on the same and paint the aircraft as invincible and unassailable, the US-made fighter jet will likely go the way of the other Western Wunderwaffen in Ukraine, and, if it is deployed at all in significant numbers, is in for a mass cull by Russian air-to-air- and surface-to-air systems or even missile forces and unmanned one-way drones like what likely happened on Aug 26, 2024 where a collision of the F-16 with a Shahed 136 drone or a near explosion cannot be ruled out.
Russia has many assets that can take down the F-16 Fighting Falcon, or any other existing or even future warplane for that matter, including near-autonomous self-aiming air-to-air missiles that have a range of over 300 km and the world’s best and most numerous air defense systems.
Also, the F-16 is not that hard to kill. Not at all.
It doesn’t require cutting-edge- or particularly advanced weapons to knock it down. Most of the known shoot-downs were achieved by Soviet designed and built SAM systems that stem back to the early 1950s and the F-16 is yet to face modern Russian, or anybody else’s, anti-aircraft weapons as it has never operated in near-peer conflicts.
In low altitude passes it can even be brought down by concentrated small arms fire or stray bullets or shrapnel and debris that will puncture and likely ignite the fuel tanks or pierce the canopy and kill the pilot.
Once the cobweb of lies and propaganda is torn down, the F-16 “Fighting Falcon” is more like a diseased crow on its last pair of wings – a flying aluminum () foil fuel tank wrapped around the big thirsty turd of a single jet engine, nearly scraping the ground with the soft underbelly while taxiing on the tarmac – that is unreliable and prone to accidents even in peace time and is otherwise nothing special and is an ageing soft and flimsy jet plane with a huge unprotected canopy making the pilot especially vulnerable to all kinds of impact in the event of a shoot-down, of which there will be many in Ukraine, no doubt.
Conclusion
In light of the above it is now all too clear that masses of Western supplied weapons systems, foremost and most numerous amongst them American origin weapons, have now been destroyed in the Ukraine conflict in industrial quantities and generally in such great numbers and over such a short period of time as never heretofore seen anywhere or at any time, including the First and Second World Wars, with many Western systems destroyed for the first time ever and immediately in overwhelming numbers relative to their availability.
Though destruction of inferior Western weaponry, armor and vehicles, old and new, continues unabated as the conflict goes on and more deliveries of the proverbial are made, a certain reduction in the numbers of such destruction has been noticeably in evidence lately – the rate of said destruction is nowhere near the peak destruction numbers of the spring and summer of 2023 and even before that, although the recent Kursk incursion by the Zelensky regime military may be now bucking the trend a little bit though it is unsure for how much longer as the writing is on the wall.
To explain this finding, experts suggest that probably the US master planners running the conflict (whoever and wherever they are - certainly nowhere near the White House) have started husbanding and hogging their weaponry and especially fighting vehicles, if not actually withdrawing them from the Ukraine, certainly from the frontline, so as to avoid more embarrassment and to mitigate the PR disaster of the whole world seeing so much destroyed American and other Western weaponry in one place and at one same time like never really before, which is to be sure also noted by many with a grudge against the United States and other Western entities and especially against their ruling elites, both inside and outside the West proper, and who are thus getting emboldened by the hour, and with good reason too, and may be quietly sharpening their knives.
People from all over the world enjoy their daily dose of Western weaponry and asset humiliation in the Ukraine, and they seek out relevant videos and pictures defeating the best efforts of Western censors and the Western government controlled major search engines attempting to mislead people with their Western government-sanctioned and mandated rigged search results.
Such pictures and videos undermine the Western propaganda narrative promulgated in the West from every corner, or – more to the point – from every screen and every connected device.
Here is why it is important.
Spreading military superiority propaganda and especially the myth of the “invincibility, amazing effectiveness and supremacy of the US made weapons” seems to be now part of the US military doctrine (indeed as it was also part of the German Nazi Wehrmacht doctrine decades ago, etc.).
Whether actually articulated or just implicitly implied and secretly mandated, such crafty propaganda is meant to make it easier for the United States to subjugate nations around the world, to make them think that any resistance to the US creeping encroachment and aggression on the world is futile, to make them believe that the US military might is unassailable and ultimately to discourage people from ever testing elements of the US military and consequently to prevent them from ever finding out or knowing how easy it is to actually knock out US-made military assets and / or to kill US and Western soldiery (as thousands of US ex-military, many former US Marines, and other Western ex-military and special service types turned NATO auxiliaries can attest and testify – except that they won’t - having been killed in Ukraine; large numbers were also wounded and secretly shipped back home), and, in the absence of such knowledge, to keep them docile and unresistant in the face of the continuing US rule over the world.
In the past, the United States was very busy promoting the myth of her military supremacy and jealously guarded it against any encroachment by the truth, with the last more or less truthful admission of US military losses going back all the way to the Vietnam war.
For instance, the US military went to such lengths as to deliberately target, fire on and destroy their own M1 Abrams tanks in the 1991 Gulf War, after those tanks were knocked out by Iraqis – all in order to be able to falsely claim, and to trumpet to the world, that the destroyed tanks were victims of friendly fire incidents and not of any successful action on the part of the Iraqi military, with some twenty US M1 Abrams tanks knocked out of action by accurate and effective Iraqi fire deceitfully accounted for in this way.
But these new facts brought to public consciousness by the Ukraine conflict are unavoidable and go a long way to shatter and bury that myth, with grave implications for the future of the world-wide US hegemony or even exclusivity. And as the myth of the superiority and supremacy of Western armor, weaponry and armaments is shattered once and for good and they are found out in the Ukraine to be ineffective and little short of useless, it will no doubt encourage more Western-oppressed peoples and movements to take up arms, and to engage in direct action, against their Western masters or oppressors all over the world which will be, and already is, one result of this Western provoked war, on which the plutocratic Western corporate minority (1-percenter) ruling elites did not count at all and which they had failed to anticipate.
On the other hand, there is another potential dimension to these developments as well.
The oppressed impoverished and downtrodden populations of Western plutocracy states, foremost amongst them being the United States herself, subdued by the huge internal security apparatus and by the use of such crafty devices as artificially ruling elite engendered opioid- and other substance abuse epidemics, various gender identity wars and racial unrests, fake and artificially pumped up movements like BLM and Blacked!, etc. whose sole purpose is to keep people fuzzy and docile, divided and leaderless, and unquestioning of their ruling geriatric elites, are no longer as fearful of their repressive bodies, especially their Armies and Navies and special police- and other dedicated forces, as they used to be because they have now seen and know full well that the Western, NATO and the US armies, navies, heavily-armed police forces and interior suppression troops, such as “national guards”, can be successfully taken on, engaged and defeated with DIY grade weapons and little else but daring and courage, and that, right here, is another one result of this Western provoked war many years in the making, on which the plutocratic Western corporate minority (1-percenter superrich) ruling elites did not count at all and did not anticipate and will likely soon not know what to do about either.
As global competition for resources is heating up, and the United States is progressively denied access to the world’s few remaining raw materials and other assets or even cheap labor, and is more and more confined to her own gutted and depleted half-continent, can the United States and her EU clients really afford to lose so much resources on the Ukrainian war gaining nothing, whatever the outcome, but future threats to their very existence, for the Russians and Ukrainians alike will never now forget or forgive their shocking behavior as the organizers, enablers and cheer-leaders of the blood bath in Ukraine and the US and Western elites’ astonishing hate propaganda, the likes of which has not been seen since Dr. Goebbels? And wasting their dwindling and non-replenishable resources in the process?
As another batch of Western, mainly US-origin, weapons is destroyed on any given day amid ongoing daily destruction of scores and even hundreds of Western supplied armor assets on an industrial scale, with such lopsided destruction of Western weaponry never before seen in the history of warfare or of mankind, fears and apprehensions are now growing that the only way such destruction can be surpassed will be when Russia – enraged by the behavior of the West and NATO involving themselves in what was supposed to be a small nearly bloodless frontier war between two neighbors and nobody else’s business (and the United States has had many such wars and quite recently too) and turning it instead into a giant blood bath with a huge loss of life – inevitably moves to the next "payback is a bitch" or, if you prefer “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” stage which is that of punishing and dismantling the NATO pact itself in its lair which is the Atlantic entities of Europe and North America; although in this case the primary agent of destruction will be not the no-name weaponized drone, not the RPG-7, not the Lancet UCAV or the Ka-52 LMUR missile, etc. – the systems that have distinguished themselves in action against Western supplied weapons and armor assets – but Russia’s numerous tactical, intermediate nuclear armaments as well as strategic nukes in non-strategic capacity in stand-off saturation artillery-, aerial- and missile bombardments of the NATO pact’s core entities and territories, some more than others, but certainly wiping out Britain, rather like what Israel has now done to Gaza – as the West preferred to turn a blind eye – but with more gusto and panache, under threat of use of strategic nuclear arms for the final resolution and the total mass assured one-way destruction of the West and the North Atlantic axis to achieve a complete pacification of the North Atlantic entities in the event of anything even remotely resembling an attempt at retaliation by the North Atlantic pact.
Though one naturally hopes that this prospect will remain a scary but hypothetical scenario and the events will never take such a ghastly turn, such or similar degeneration of affairs cannot be altogether ruled out and the more so the more NATO and the West continue to get involved in the Ukraine conflict but, of course, one also hopes, NATO will be given a germane chance to avoid this unpleasantness by disbanding voluntarily - something she should well already be making the preparations for as her only viable option.
Given the nature of the destruction of her weapons and other assets in the Ukraine conflict and the tremendous and awe-inspiring statistics of such destruction, NATO should abandon all realistic hopes of defending herself in Europe or elsewhere in the world with conventional means, even less so with nuclear as she doesn’t have that many of those and it is not proven that they even work, and that is a lesson NATO should take close to heart and learn really well and act upon soon.
The United States, the EU, NATO, and the West in general will continue to involve themselves in the Ukraine conflict, and will continue to resist the inevitable, at their peril and much to the detriment of world peace and the world itself, period.
